"The question that sometimes drives me crazy; am I or the other crazy?"- Albert Einstein

Hello, my name is Lizzy.

I am 17 and live in Texas. Yes I know when you hear/see Texas you think horsey's and cowboys running around wrangling up Indians, but I live in Houston. We don't do that here. I have known I was going to be writer since fifth grade when I read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and thought, " I want to do that", meaning create a story like J.K. did. I wont pretend to be some hot shot gold star writer who cant go wrong, because in reality I'm only 17. I will however try my best to please whoever is reading my stories, but I will not let anyone control them but me. I enjoy reading everything, especially fanfic because these are the people who will grow up one day to become the new Richelle Meads and Anne Rice's. How rad would it be to say you read so and so's fanfic before they became that brilliant writer? Pretty fucking rad thats how. I do curse, sorry but thats me, don't like then you don't have to read. Cursing is apart of teenage Americans life, so seeing as most of my future stories will be based from American writer, yes there will be cursing. I do feel this whole "introduction" thing i just wrote is inconsequential but I know, for me atleast, I like to know a little about the author who just wrote this amazing/terrible (depending on yourself) story. So keep writing and reading fellow fanfictioners and I shall do the same!

Alot of what inspires me to write comes from quotes, poems, songs and lyrics Ive read/heard. So here is my favorites of said list and I hope these too will inspire you whether it be to write, read, or draw.

-Poems (or the likes):

"Some say the world will end in fire.
Some in ice.
From what Ive tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is just as great and would suffice."- Robert Frost

"O' Miss Manette, when the picture of a happy fathers face looks up in yours,

think now and then that there is a man who would give his life,

"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is new does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crown less again shall be King."- J.R.R. Tolkein

Alone
"From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were I have not seen
As others saw I could not bring
My passions from a common spring
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone
And all I lov'd I lov'd alone
Then in my childhood in the dawn
Of a most stormy life was drawn
From ev'ry depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still
From the torrent, or the fountain
From the red cliff of the mountain
From the sun that 'round me roll'd
In its autumn tint of gold
From the lightning in the sky
As it pass'd me flying by
From the thunder, and the storm
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view"- Edgar Allan Poe
