For those who have read the story 'WHAT IF THEY MET BEFORE' here is the SEQUEL that you have been waiting for. This story picks up in January 2012...a few months after what happened in Disneyland. I think there may be some M rated material later in the story...though I'm not sure yet.

Jack never left & Kensi married him as planned. Deeks never joined the LAPD. In a strange twist of fate, as Kensi's marriage crumbles, they meet. As her lawyer, Deeks goes above and beyond to help her through her divorce & soon the boundaries between them begin to blur. The undeniable spark is there, but will it grow into a fire? AU. Kensi and Deeks hanging out on another Friday after work. "Tick tock! Tick tock! Goes Kensalina's biological clock!" Deeks teased with a laugh, from the corner of the couch he was sitting on. "Oh, my God, Deeks...I swear you're the one with the biological clock running out!" Kensi yelled glaring at him.

After finding a baby in a house where her two parents were murdered the special OPS team are put in charge of her care. A problem comes up when the baby takes a special liking to the LAPD liaison who turns out to be a lot closer to this case than anyone realized.

When Kensi believes there is nothing left between her and Deeks, her life start to lose control. Can Deeks fix things and save Kensi before she does something she'll forever regret?

All it took was three blows to land Kensi in the hospital. When the doctors tell Deeks what Kensi's injuries mean, he finds out what she's been hiding, and that something much bigger than he'd originally thought happened on the night they spent together 2 months ago. How many more blows before one of their hearts can't be glued back together?
