So, Criminal Minds...I spend most of my time delving into these characters' personal lives because it's way more exciting than my own, and the actual writers of the show, you know, the ones who make the big bucks? don't actually give us much more than what we see on-screen. I like to go beyond that cloak. I know, I'm such a rebel. If you want something with a really riveting case-file or mind-bending office-talk, then watch the show. I write fanfiction because I like to imagine what happens to these people after they've caught the bad guys and had to investigate mutilated bodies all day long. In the same vein, I don't do the traditional couple with four dogs, a minivan, 3 kids, and a house with a white picket fence storylines. You can go somewhere else for those. I do, however, make Lifetime jealous with how much angst and drama I throw into my writing, for no other reason than that's just where my true talent happens to lie. Believe me, I've tried writing fluffy stories and even humorous stories and they all turned out really awful, because I'm really not as funny as I thought. So I'm doing you a favor. You're welcome. I also write a lot of femslash, particularly between JJ and Emily. If this offends you, don't say I didn't warn you. If you like my stories, good. If you don't, cool. But I would appreciate constructive criticism...at least tell me why you hated it, so I can improve for next time. Really, I appreciate any kind of feedback. You guys keep me doing what I love.
