![]() Author has written 10 stories for Greek Mythology, Hunger Games, Charlie Bone, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Hey! I also have a FictionPress account, which is also Amelia Moon (https://www.fictionpress.com/u/803080/). Note: Most of my fanfiction stories were written many years ago and do not represent my current style of writing (cause TBH these stories are horrible), newer (still not great) work is posted on FictionPress. About Me: 1. I live on Planet Earth. 2. I am a proud Richardian and Yorkist supporter. 3. I think Chocolate is amazing. 4. I ship Canon and Tratie (PJO). 5. I rule the incomparable Gardens as Lady Sunday. Books I have read that I recommend, that aren't that well-known: The Underland Chronicles (5 books) by Suzanne Collins Fantasy. Gregor and his sister Boots fall through a vent in the basement of their apartment and find themselves in the Underland. 10 and up Keys to the Kingdom (7 books) by Garth Nix Fantasy. Arthur lives a normal life before an asthma attack brings him into contact with Mister Monday, and his adventures begin. 10 and up The Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Kay Penman Historical Fiction. A chronicle of the life of Richard III and the aftermath of his death. 12 and up Children of the Red King (8 books) by Jenny Nimmo Fantasy. Charlie Bone discovers he has magical talents and is sent to Bloor's Academy for similarly talented students. 8 and up The First Princess of Wales by Karen Harper Historical Fiction. A chronicle of the life of Joan of Kent... not really historically accurate but still a good read. 12 and up Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedwick Fantasy. A unique book that tells seven related stories that take place on a magical Scandinavian island. It's hard to describe, but is a very good book, and is a quick read. 12 and up Trapped by Michael Northrop Realistic Fiction. 7 Students are trapped in their high school during a massive blizzard. 10 and up Random Quotes From Books: "The power of good is shown not by triumphantly conquering evil, but by continuing to resist evil while facing certain defeat." "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live." "The fantastic thing about war is that is was fought over nothing - literally nothing. Frontiers were imaginary lines... It was geography which was the cause - political geography." "English is a strong Language. It has a great assortment of four-lettered words." "The country cannot have two kinds of laws [...] What if men were different colors? Would it be right to have one set of laws for blue men and another set for red?" "It all seems like a bad dream. I wish we could wake up and find we were once again in the safety of Sheriff Hutton, awaiting Uncle Richard's summons back to London." "I am [loyal to Edward] too. But only to my brother, to my house, and to the blood of kings." "George, the handsome irrepressible duke, is dead [...] It was his last bitter, brilliant gesture of defiance to the woman who ruined his house." " 'I think the day might come when all men will know of [Richard III] is what they were told by Tudor historians like Rous.' ... 'Whatever the lies being told about Dickon now, surely the truth will eventually win out.' " "York was never defeated, it just stepped back into the shadows." | |||||||
