I love TV shows and reading. Fandom interests include: Supernatural, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Witches of East End, The Secret Circle, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed, Dark Angel, Burn Notice, The Covenant, The Mortal Instruments, Twilight, Harry Potter to name a few. Supernatural is my current obsession, it has been less than a year since I immersed myself into the world of Supernatural and the SPN fandom, it has become my absolute favorite show and I am completely and utterly obsessed to the point that I wanted to try writing a spn fanfic with a bada* female character (because I wish there were more on the show).

I have been on FF for awhile now as a reader of other people's fanfiction work and just recently decided to try writing my own because I have a cool story idea that I would like to see if I can turn into an actual good story. We shall see.

How Far We’ve Come Introduction

I have come up with a long outlined story idea for a Supernatural fanfic that I am still in the process of writing into actual chapters. And since it is my first attempt at this extensive of a writing project it might take a while to tell but I invite you to come along for the ride. The story follows an original character, a girl named Lexi, who is a (not entirely human) hunter, and how crossing paths with Dean Winchester at 16 alters her entire future. The plan for this story is to have it span the timeline of the show from season 1 to season 11, including some pre-season 1 flashbacks, including how Lexi and Dean first meet. The story will be told from Lexi’s point of view and will include events from the show, sometimes altered, to include Lexi. There will be a prologue giving some background on Lexi, and then chapter 1 will start around the season 1 episode Dead Man’s Blood.

Just a little bit about some of my inspirations behind the idea for this story. The title, How Far We’ve Come, is taken from the Matchbox Twenty song by the same name; its one of my favorite songs and I think the lyrics are kind of fitting. Inspirations for the character Lexi are pretty much all of my favorite bada* female characters, but the main ones are Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Fiona Glenanne from Burn Notice, Lexi from The Vampire Diaries, Clary Fray from The Mortal Instruments, and Piper from Charmed.
