![]() Author has written 2 stories for iCarly, and Overwatch. It is different for each individual to write as each may have their own style and pattern of thought. However, it should be noted, that we may sum up the reasons as a desire to communicate feelings and ideas. The labor of speaking is done for the sake of conveying feelings moreso than thoughts, as the tone of our setences holds more meaning than our words. There is an inate desire to be understood within the human nature and we are compelled to achive it. Be it throught art, music, or literature, we desire to communicate. As such, a story's purpose is much of the same yet in a broader term. A story's purpose is not only to entertain but also to allow others to empathize with it, to make the reader care through its realism, and to bore a lasting impression, a mark persay, that the writter leaves on the reader once the story is finished. Any story that is not able to achieve some form of the above is generic and tasteless. To write, one should have a purpose in mind and shape the story within the mold of the purpose. Without purpose, one is spouting nonesense with their writting. In conclusion: I should not write. |
