So anyway I discovered the realms of fan fiction when I moved to uni 5 years ago. I only ever read Stragate SG-1 fics for years, major Jack/Sam shipper here (not that I wouldn't mind Sam being other wise inclined) but the UST that runs through season 1-8 it such a well of inspiration for writing that I fond myself engrossed in other peoples take on their interactions. So inevitably I strayed into the writing of them about two year ago. Although attempting to write straight smut is a bit odd considering i do much preffere the wonders of the female form.

Anyways I go threw cycles of being almost obsessed with two thing. In winter it is Stargate. In summer it becomes Harry Potter. books of course however unlike some I am inclined to watch the films not for the rather bad adaptations of the books but for the wonderful directing and the sheer magnitude of the endeavour to bring to life something that kids around the world had imagined for years. Although there is always my own imagination when it comes to what the world of Harry Potter is about the films are getting better. sorry for the digression back to the point. So mid may when the notion to start listening (I got the audio books to listen to at work takes about 9 days to get through them all.) to Harry Potter came around again I discovered the joys of one particular paring. And I know it creeps some people out but to be honest I find it the most natural of any paring that could occur in the book. McGonagall and Hermione are just so perfectly suited to each other that it makes sense.

So here is my new obsession. HG/MM I've read all the ones I can find on the site and must say that there are many that I find portray the characters really well and these tend to be the ones full of angst surprise surprise. however I can not understand those that write AD/MM Dumbledore is gay right. McGonagall we are never told, and Hermione we can hope. But I thought I'd take a shot.

A Timeless Attraction, is my take on time travel with HG/MM running through the years. following minerva as she tries to find her beloved Holly, we shal see what happens.

Self Destruct- maybe doing exctly what it says in the title. It is depressing and will continue to be but hey it will have some good times in there.
