Normal stuff: a twenty-something girl, from Lisbon, Portugal. Family gatherings make me the happiest. Food will always bring joy, in the right moderation that is. Love music, probably a little too much the kind that makes you sad. I'm always making some kind of traveling plans, whether next weekend to go visit Grandma two hours away, or next year's trip somewhere far away.

Things you could never have known: I'm a faithful reader, but the worst kind of writer (self-criticism galore). I once lived in China, but don't speak Chinese. I speak a little Italian, probably best when I had something to drink already. My favorite alcoholic drink will always be champagne, but I don't speak Fren... just kidding :) Aaaaaand, although I cry as much as any other girl (or boy), I've never, ever shed a tear in my life. Too weird?

Why Fanfiction? A way to kill an addiction? I guess it didnt work out, since I've been lurking around here for a while, oops! The crucial part is that, at some point, I was no longer chasing after sparkly vampires and silly little humans but instead stories, and then writers, and then life-changing moments. I'm here simply as a privileged witness to your brilliancy, searching for inspiration, smiles, tears and wisdom through stories, words and imaginaries which can travel beyond borders and cultures, and that, regardless of language, expression or intention, show me just how powerful creativity can be. Is this enough? (also, IReen Weiss writes for this fandom!)

The Office and A Little Crazy by tby789 - Do I have to spell it?

Master of the Universe by Snowqueens Icedragon - really? These writers might be floating out there now in their own mega fandoms, but they made me blush like a prude and moan like a sinner.

Emancipation Proclamation by kharizzmatik - the impact of this story... I think no one got to the end of this one without a tired, broken heart. Truly wonderful story.

The Lost Boys by hwimsey - no one ever speaks of this one, but it's a gem. (Lost muse Bella, plus musician Edward, plus SFran, plus ghosts = awesomeness)

Scars are Souvenirs You Never Lose by letmesign - the second most painful story I've read around here, only topped by one still in my favorites. Both left me crying for DAYS!

Hydraulic Level 5 by Gondolier - really, really good one.

Mr. Horrible by algonquinrt - the funny story about this one, is that I truly thought my uncontrollable laughter was making the sofa shake while a read this one. Turns out, it was really an earthquake. Earth-shattering funny this one!
