Steve doesn't have a lot of friends. He has the Avengers but they aren't necessarily his friends. He ventures online and finds something he didn't think he'd find: a true friend. But he can't deny the pull to want to meet in real life, despite wanting to keep his new friend safe from the life he leads. The need for companionship isn't one that can be refused. Steve/OC
