The concept of the 'do-over' is used in, at the very least, hundreds of Harry Potter stories. Here's my own take, using a HP character that actually has a good reason for getting another chance to make things better.

Wands are finicky things... What if that night in the graveyard actually did bring Harry's parents back to life? Life just got a bit more complicated and nothing will ever be the same.

Someone other that Ron interrupts Harry's conversation with Sirius, the night that Harry discovers the First Task is dealing with dragons. She decides that Harry needs help with not only the Tournament, but many other things, as well.

Harry wasn't the only one with the traits worthy of a Slytherin, his best friends were in possession of them too, as hidden as they were. The Sorting Hat sensed them and decided that the snake's pit was their true home rather than the lion's den. The three of them, half lion, half snake, found each other and became what people would one day call the Silver Trio.

Harry and Hermione use the Time-Turner to go back three hours to save Sirius. But it malfunctions, and they end up twenty years in the past. Time-Turners never send people back in time without a reason. What is it, and how will they get back? Meanwhile, Harry realises the difficulties of trying to change the future and uncovers secrets about the past, his parents and himself.

Harry dies at the same time as Voldemort when the killing curse backfires the second time and is sent back to Kings cross station. Now however Fawkes meets him there and sends him somewhere all together different than the Hogwarts he knows. Not Slash

What had started as a drunken accident, ends up with Harry returning to the past to prevent the dark future ahead.
