It's the week before Christmas and roommates Bonnie and Caroline wake up from a wild night out with two unexpected guests: Bonnie's personified brood of a best friend, Stefan, and Caroline's booty-call-of-the-month, Damon. It's all standard morning fare until they realize a massive snowstorm hit Boston the night before, and suddenly a bickery, harmless morning after becomes... six.

1970's ERA teen Bonnie is the only black girl at her new all white high school. She is angry to have left her entire life in New Orleans behind, to move to Mystic Falls. She feels alone, until she connects with the school rebel Damon, who is captivated by her differences. They are drawn together and can't help the intricate pattern in which they begin falling in love. *AH*

Without the wall, I could see him for who he truly was. An immortal soul with a timeless lust for life and a thirst for the thrill. The rest of us held ourselves down with the morals given to us by our fathers, but Damon had no such qualms. He was flexible in his views and his morals varied. Most of all, he was more honest than any of us. And even though I knew better, I loved him.
