Jaune Arc, fourth year of Beacon Academy, returns with his team to finish their final year, expecting it to be a fun, but uneventful year, he was wrong: Ozpin, like a hurricane of vagueness and infuriating smugness puts them and their peers in charge of providing guidance to the imminently-arriving first years! He can only hope that their charges will be easy to handle.

As team RNJR arrives in Mistral, Ruby begins the process of putting team RWBY back together. This once again leaves a hole in team JNPR. As they follow up a lead on Cinder they might find a new member who they share a common enemy with. (Not the greatest summary or title but couldn't come up with anything else to say.) Intended as part 1 of a 3 part story. My first RWBY fanfic.

Jaune manages to defeat Cardin in a spar after training with Pyrrah over the semester break. Team JNPR and RWBY agree to go out to a club to celebrate but why does Jaune then wake up surrounded by the sleeping forms of Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang and Pyrrha? Leading the male alliance wasn't part of the plan, nor was becoming mankind's final hope. He was a coward, an idiot and a weakling. It was just a shame no one would believe him when he said so!

Miracles had a nasty habit of happening when all hope seemed lost. Belief allowed for the bleakest of moments to become something truly beautiful. Lament summoned Folly in the face of danger. And together they created the Semblance of Hope that bestowed Jaune Arc the strength to protect those that mattered with his sword Durandal and shield Forlorn.

An older, experienced Emiya Shirou finds himself in an entirely different world, where he meets many familiar faces and foes. Allied to a darker, more ruthless Saber, can Shirou survive through only his guts, wits and skills? Can he still become the hero this city of magi needs? Post-S3. Beacon has fallen, and Taiyang regularly plays host to a couple of his daughters' friends as they try to recover. When their team's grieving leader joins them one day, will the double widower recognise that same grief in time to avoid the worst first impression he'll ever make? Spoiler: No. No he will not.
