Author has written 1 story for Foundation.

Hello there. Call me Richard of Clayton, for there are quite a few people who have the name Richard Blake.

I love science fiction and fantasy stories. My favorite authors growing up were Isaac Asimov and J.R.R. Tolkien. (I know those may be cliche answers, but it's true). When I picked up my first Isaac Asimov book (Foundation's Edge) I was completely enthralled and I wanted to read more. I went out of my way to find everything I could that was written by him and read it. Every one of them had something I liked in them and I sought to emulate him as best I could. With Tolkien, sadly he did not write nearly as much, but he inspired me to create many strange worlds where anything could happen. And with these inspiring figures I have been writing ever since.

When I sit down to write my stories being able to speculate about what could happen under alternate realities keeps my mental juice flowing.

Lucky Starr and the Ghosts of Uranus
Based off Isaac Asimov's Lucky Starr series. The Terran Federation asks the Council of Science to send someone to investigate strange messages coming from the direction of the planet Uranus. Lucky Starr and Bigman Jones are chosen to do this reconnaissance mission and discover more than they bargained for.
