Galion had warned them that there was no point in sending him to bed, for there are very few elves who are as good at looking after the royal family as he is. Galion was right, there was no point.

Sometimes, love can only be shown in the toughest of forms. Neither party likes it, but in the end: baskets full of the richest produce come from a moment of discipline, rather than let the grapes of bitterness and rebellion thrive in a wild heart. Thranduil takes the opportunity to teach toddler Legolas why there are rules, and how they help him rather than restrain him.

It was the wails of a child, that drew Gandalf to the scene. A scene of horror, one the wizard would never forget. Amongst the corpses of wargs and elves, a single elfling...survived. AU, follows movie canon events. Many years before the One Ring made its presence known in Middle Earth, a golden-blond haired, bright-blue eyed elfling was found abandoned in the Forests of Mirkwood by an Elvenking grieving the recent deaths of his wife and son. This is the story of that elfling, Legolas Thranduilion, adopted son of King Thranduil, told through one and two-shots.

When a battered elfling is brought to Imladris, the household of Elrond Halfelven begin to teach her to trust and smile again. This is her story as she grows up there and learns not simply to exist, but how to live. Family-centric fic covering pre-War of the Ring until the sailing of Legolas and Gimli. Finally complete!

The final battle is over and there is nothing left. At his death Harry is taken into another world and given a fresh start, a chance for a family in a world where he is not the saviour. He is overjoyed to find love, care and affection in Middle Earth. Given a chance again to chose how his life should proceed, he moves forward to protect the people

King Thranduil leaves with his guard into the woods of Mirkwood on a hunt for spiders that have nested nearby, and a young prince Legolas is disappointed he cannot yet go and help rid his realm of these creatures. But the king and father decides perhaps he could cheer his only son up by bringing the hunt home to the elfling.

Eventual yaoi. Three years after the fall of Voldemort, Harry finds himself transported to a world in which he apparently is connected to. Wanting to know why he was sent away, and why the truth was kept from him, Harry presses forward for answers and also for peace. But nothing peaceful or normal ever seemed to follow the boy who live.

Anna means 'gift' in Quenya. That is what she has received from the Valar with her new life in Arda, and is what they intended for her to be to the Noldor. Because even fallen angels deserve second chances.
