After a terrorist attack in Warsaw, Team Rainbow is tasked with what could be the most dangerous operation in years. Thermite, Hibana, Caveira, Ela, Thatcher and Bandit are sent to Syria to find intel about an unknown terrorist organisation and take it down. However, things can go horribly wrong pretty quickly.

This is not just a counter-terrorist unit. This isn't just a bunch of people with guns shooting bad guys. This is much more. This is a family. This is Rainbow.

By strange coincidence the GSG9 team have found themselves essentially trapped in a small cabin with two Russian enemies, both sides stuck and lost within a snow storm in the middle of nowhere. Reluctantly, they must find a way to put their differences aside and survive together. But it's not easy...

While the Rainbow team is on security detail at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics: what appear to be traitors on the other side of the stadium seem to be carrying around suspicious boxes and they go forth to pursue them. This fanfic is speculation that seeks to explain why half of the Rainbow team fight other members of Rainbow in the game.
