Ava and Peter Parker were bitten by radioactive spiders from their fathers experiments. After learning of the children's abilities hydra takes them in to raise them as soldiers. Both children have experienced terrible things. The Avengers just thought it was a typical assignment, taking down a small Hydra base to make the world a better place, they weren't expecting what they found
