Well first thing you should know is most of the time I feel slightly insane, but that's okay. I also work in a library and I absolutely adore fantasy. You name a series, I've read it. At two pages per minute. My favorites include the Dragonlance saga by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien of course, many of the Tamora Pierce books, especially War of the Immortals, the Books of Pellinor by Alison Croggon, the Pern books by Anne McCaffery and too many others to remember right now.

I also like manga and anime as long as it's not along the lines of Sailor Moon and suchlike, except for Tokyo Mew Mew and Furuba (aka Fruits Basket). My favorites are Trinity Blood, Elfen Lied, Claymore, Blood, Hellsing, Howl's Moving Castle (even though it's technically a movie and yes, I read the book), Saiyuki, Princess Ai, Tsubasa, and Naruto. I do have to say I really think Kishimoto should stop though, because the plot's going all to hell. He kills all the best characters! I only like it for the fandom now. I also don't like watching or reading InuYasha, but I love the fandom.

Favorite pairings: Sesshoumaru/Kagome, Kakashi/Sakura, Haji/Saya, Howl/Sophie, Jareth/Sarah (from Labyrinth, best '80s movie ever), Numair/Daine, and Aragorn/Arwen.
