DeviantArt account above. There's fanart for my fics in the folders. My profile is just detailing what I write and don't write. So I haven't updated this journal in a while. I guess I want to outline things here. I'm into science-fiction and fantasy; I've made up stories for as long as I can remember. I write more about platonic relationships and I like developing characters, though I'm no expert. I'm a hapless OC maker, though I do my best to make them fit into a story. In more recent stories I've tried to keep focus on canon characters as much as my own. I don't write romance unless its a sub-plot or part of a bigger picture (so no romance-only fics, counting the Pirates and Survivors Series, as it isn't just about romance, but other things) and I don't write slash - I have nothing against homosexuals, in fact I may have a gay character in future sometimes, but I don't pair characters who are straight and have love interests in their own franchises. I like sticking to the canon when it comes to canon characters, but do what you want as long as its not creepy. That said I'm fully against any pairings of anyone underage to adult characters...There are stories that deal with horrible things like that I understand, but some people write it as if its A-Okay and I just don't want to stomach it. They're disturbing and shouldn't happen. I've written original stuff and poems, though I don't usually post them anywhere because you never know. I like a mixture of many genres, I like comedy, science fiction, crime, drama and spoof. Though I don't write for all of them I do like broad stuff. |
