Gather ‘round, children and listen well, for this is the tale of two best of friends, living their lives as heroes. Their names? Long since forgotten, but we remember them as Shadowstep and Lionheart: the daughters of Dovah.
First was clever little Shadowstep, a ‘mer (or was it beast?) who could shoot a deer at a hundred paces and melt into the shadows with the ease and grace of Nocturnal herself.
Then there was brave Lionheart, the protector of Hammerfell, with a quick wit and quicker blade. She would fight, twist and Shout with mighty Thu’um for her noble cause, not stopping til her sword had tasted her enemy's blood.

They say the sisters appeared in our homeland out of the blue, sent by the gods; destined to defeat the World Eater, but we all know that they did much more than that. Quests were taken, journeys were made, songs were sung. Shadowstep and Lionheart’s adventures are now legends, destined to be told and retold among generations to come.
Together, they traveled as one. They meant the world to each other, and nothing in it could come between them.

Not the Eater of Worlds, not the Gates of Oblivion, not even the Nine themselves could stop these heroes.
