Meet the no. 1 anime-hater alive- before I discovered Rurouni Kenshin. I totally fell in love with the story and characters (especially our very own loved hitokiri) and labeled myself as obsessed. Here I am now, trying my hand out at some fiction in honor of the great Nobuhiro Watsuki and his brainchild Kenshin/Battousai.
I am, first and foremost, a proud Hitokiri Battousai fan who believes that Himura Kenshin should never have given up his katana and wakizashi in place of a sakabatou. Kami-sama knows how incredibly appealing he was with that samurai topknot and fierce amber eyes! Nevertheless, I also love the gentle rurouni, though he can be such a prude sometimes. sigh I also am a supporter of the heaven-made Kenshin-Tomoe pairing. I LOVE TOMOE!!! However I do understand the rightness of the Kenshin-Kaoru relationship, because just as Tomoe was given a second chance to love with the 15 yr. old Kenshin, so he should get a second chance too with our lovable busu. I have nothing whatsoever against Kaoru-chan! I also think that there is great potential in the Enishi-Kaoru pairing...it certainly is very interesting. Don't even try to sell the Aoshi-Megumi possibility to me- I really think Misao is perfect for him! Talk about personality opposites, huh. I like Sano and Sayo together (they are so perfect) but Sano and Megumi go pretty well together too. AND I won't forget to mention one of my most favorite characters...Seta Tenken-no-Soujiro! So kawaii! (I love you Soujiro!!!)
