So, there's really not much to tell. I am a fairly young (I wish) woman who lives in London with a husband, a daughter and a cat. I work, I eat, I look after my family, I Tweet, I read and write fanfic.

I have been a genre TV watcher from a young age. My dad and I used to sit and watch Star Trek: The Next Generation together. I was also completely obsessed with Quantum Leap as a young teenager. Then came The X-Files. Many shows have come and gone including, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voyager, Babylon 5, Twin Peaks (I saw it on video only about 10 years ago), Red Dwarf, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Supernatural, Lost, Journeyman, Stargate: SG-1, Atlantis and Universe, Haven, Doctor Who and, well, the list goes on. There's also the shows that weren't sci-fi related: Dawson's Creek, The Mentalist, Castle, Numb3rs, Criminal minds, Boston Legal, Veronica Mars, Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, The Newsroom, Longmire, and so on and so forth. Oh, I love Harry Potter too.

My big confession is that as well as being a sci-fi fan I am also a mad shipper, though I didn't know there was a name for the "condition" until about a year ago. It was just something I did with just about every TV show or film I watched. I liked to name at least one couple in a pilot and see if it would work out as the shows went on. I got pretty good at it.

I only recently discovered Fanfic - I had no idea it existed until about eighteen months ago. I have spent years writing stories relating to the shows I love(d) - the first story I wrote was a Quantum Leap story, there was also a Star Trek:Voyager story, and a Buffy/Angel crossover. I never let anyone read them, they were just written for myself, to satisfy my own needs, I suppose. And now I do this. I find it relaxes me to write my story and post it. It is still a bit strange to me that it is out there for other people to see but it's nice as well.

The stories i tend to read most are Stargate: Atlantis ones with the focus on my OTP: John and Elizabeth. They are the ones I find most interesting and exciting and I love the way people come up with stories whether they be ones that fit in the canon, ones that are set after the series ended or are set in AUs. They all fascinate me.

And that's about it. Maybe I'll add more if I think of anything worth adding.
