I’ve always loved reading and writing. First started reading fanfiction when I was about twelve/thirteen and began writing about six months later. I posted my first story on here in 2006, I like to think I’ve improved a lot since then, but I’m still very proud of those first few stories.

I’ve been beta-reading for roughly two years and really enjoy helping other people with their stories. I think that’s partly why I love fanfiction so much, there are so many interesting people involved in it and I’ve made some great friends.

There are quite a few fandoms that I like to read in, but at the moment ‘The Bill’ and ‘Supernatural’ are taking up most of my fanfic reading time.

I haven’t posted much recently; I’m currently studying for my A-levels and it’s taking up a lot of the time that I would once have spent writing. I am quite pleased with ‘Accepting Jesse’ though, it’s a fic I wrote for a Diagnosis Murder challenge. It was my first real challenge experience and I really enjoyed writing it.

I also have another challenge fic underway. A nameless ‘The Bill’ story that was only going to be a couple of chapters long but has morphed into something much longer. It is very much a work in progress at the moment. I’m hoping to get my first draft finished by the end of April, but don’t quote me on that!

Reliving History is probably the story that I'm most proud of. It’s a Mickey-centric ‘The Bill’ fic. I began writing it when I was much younger, posted it as it was written and never finished it. A few years later I went back to it and realised that I wanted to finish it. After about a month I had a first draft written. This story wouldn't be what it is without the wonderful snowfilly, who was a very patient, supportive beta. I'm planning a follow up to it eventually, but I think it'll be a while yet. I did write a one-shot, The First Step, which is set during the main story though, and I may do a few drabbles set in the Reliving Verse.
