Author has written 3 stories for Doctor Who.

I’ve been a loyal Doctor Who fan since 1972, when I stumbled upon it on my local PBS channel. After 39 years, I still feel the same happiness that my 11 year old self always felt while watching. My local PBS channel was very limiting, as I soon discovered upon checking the internet. There were Doctors and companions I’d never heard of. Now, thanks to DVD’s, I’m able to see so much more of the Doctor than I ever thought possible. My first Doctor in those days was Jon Pertwee, who I later met and discovered was just as charming as I thought he would be. My first companion was Jo. While I found Jon’s Doctor to be wonderful, my favorite Doctor will always be Tom Baker. While I thought Jo was a great companion for the third Doctor, my favorite companion for any Doctor will always be Sarah Jane.

I decided about four years ago to dust off the proverbial toy box and take the characters out and play with them. My stories are in their own alternate reality, set in modern times, with no preconceived notions involving a large number of the characters. I’ve finished two full length stories and will be posting them chapter by chapter as time allows. I have at best, a questionable dialup connection and I’m unsure of the amount of time it will take me to update the stories, but I’ll do my best.

I’ve read so many wonderful Doctor Who stories on FanFiction.Net. My first story, “Meetings”, is my first attempt at fan fiction, well…a story that made it out of my head and onto the computer anyway. It’s my hope that you’ll enjoy reading my stories as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them.

I just wanted to update this by thanking everyone that posted a review. It puts a smile on my face to think that something I wrote could entertain someone else. The fact that you took the time to review this story...I feel honored. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

3/21/12: Just thought I'd update anyone interested, that I'm 'still' writing the next story. In preparation for someday (if I ever, no I mean, when I finish) listing the next story in this series, I have a question. Would you prefer smaller chapters or my usual (lengthier) chapters? I personally like reading longer chapters, as it allows me sufficient time to get lost in the story. But while I like excessively thick books to read, I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Maybe readers feel the size of the chapters are too much of a commitment. Maybe the chapters are just too long for the average reader, what do you think? When I wrote the stories, I wrote them just for me. I never planned to put them online, but I was talked into it. So while I’m still in essence, writing for me, I wondered about the length of the chapters for you. Let me know what you think.

P.S. We’ve just leaped into the 21’st century. We now have broadband! I can finally view all the internet has to offer. Now if the remodeling were finished, my life would almost be complete. Living out of boxes is not something I would recommend. I went from having an organized and labeled life to, “Have you seen my _(fill in the blank with everything)?” But this is our last remodel, at least that’s what we tell ourselves, and one day it will come to an end. So in between the remodel, a new central heat and air conditioning installation we have yet to hire for, digging new water lines (Yea! City Water!), rebuilding the deck and fence, gutting the bathroom (Did I mention we do almost all of our own DIY?), the dogs, the cats and our everyday lives, I will complete the story. I just don’t have a completion date for you, but it ‘will’ happen. Once again thanks for the feedback and I hope your patience.

9/9/14: Thank you so much PixieXW for the wonderful review, it reenergized me in my desire to write again. I'm extremely grateful for every review. I was feeling down about the lack of reveiws and feeling discouraged. That and the loss of my mother and brother and our never ending home renovation has left me with no time and little desire for writing. The ideas as well as the beginnig of another story (a continuation) have already begun. But until I finish the story I don't want to post it. Now I just have to find time after all the DIY to write. Thank you again.

10/1/17: My third story is finally finished. I'll be listing the chapters once a week. Life is so crazy at best and mine has been...busy. I'd like to think I have a few more stories in me, but I guess I'll see how the feedback on this one goes. Thank you for waiting on "Reunions". I really hope you enjoy it.
