Spcificaly, it involes an era or world in which steam power is widly used- usualy 19th cetu...ry and often victorian era britian-that incorporates prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy. Works of steampunk often feature anachronistic technology or futuristic innovations as Victorians may have envisioned them; in other words, based on a Victorian perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, art, etc. or how we may want to percive the Victorian era, making it appeal to people, and be generally easier. |
