![]() Author has written 1 story for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. " Just close your eyes, you'll be alright. Come morning light, you and I will be safe and sound..." Unusual and redundant facts about myself I feel as if I'm somewhat nerdy with that quirky attitude. Though I would describe myself as a, well, a girly person. Despite the fact that I'm nerdy, there's that one part that's attracted to the glitter fabric, the floral blouses, and the high heels. It pretty much clashes with every other fact about me. I feel as if I'm a minority in my house. To sum it up, I'm the only one who likes country music, the rest in the rock or somewhat close to it, field. I have a weird sense of style, which often does't compliment the rest of my personality. It's hard to explain but I'll leave it at that, I have a somewhat peculiar and strange music taste. All the music that blares in my house is rock n' roll, and punk rock music. You may say I'm heavily influenced with it. Though, my genre of taste goes out to country, despite the fact that all I listen to everyday is classic rock and Green Day, give credits to my tolerable family. There are moments where I question my music taste. I'm an all around music type of person. My questioning, well, I wouldn't say questioning. I have two sided opinions with any statement of mines, it feels as if I'm arguing with myself. For instance, 'screamo'. There are moments where I just can't tolerate listening to it, but one part of me enjoys it. I hate it but I don't. It's like a torn up, complicated relationship. Another segment of my two sided statements are cats. I adore their furry coat and their faces but there's that one bit of fibre in me that just automatically causes me to despise them. I'm torn whether or not to like them, which I do, but on the other hand I can't help but detest them at the same time. It's quite a predicament I'm buried in, a useless one to add. A dilemma to add is grammar. Alright, take a seat, this may be a looooong paragraph, though, we'll see since it's 11 PM and school is, unfortunately, close. Ew. I would label myself as a grammar freak but I'm not exactly the best at it. I have weaknesses and flaws which are clearly evident. A metaphor you can substitute for this unusual problem is like, well, correcting your teacher though you know she has higher degree of intelligence than you. To clarify myself, I correct people, often to add, but hypocrisy is probably a much better word to summarize this in short. Alright, what a rant. Technically, I am a grammar freak but not following the rules I critic people on. So in short, I'm a hypocrite. I lack of creativity. Though, many opinions may contradict from my statement. I've been told artistic talent flows through my blood, as egotistical it may sound, but creativity is definitely not there. I may be good at drawing, sketching ,art in general, but it doesn't really matter if creativity is what I lack of. The talent and skill is pretty much useless unless you are able to manipulate your skill and take it to a whole new level. Alright, you just a had a mind-fart. "'Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile." Having a Few Obsessions Is Probably The Biggest Understatement of the Year. 1. Percy Jackson. This is pretty self-explanatory. Connect the dots, it's an awesome series. My love for Greek mythology was completely stretched, over the horizons. Rick Riordan opened up a whole new world. Greek Mythology based stories are often classics, despite my love for them, they sometime lack of the captivating structure. However, Rick Riordan caught my eyes at every title; the quirkiness of it. Even though the simple mistakes he makes, no one should judge because as the saying goes..."Nobody is-" figure it out. 2. Album Collecting. Sadly, I've only collected about 6. It's quite a tragedy actually, although, I'm hoping to collect a variety of more. I finished Taylor Swift albums which is very simple, Paramore is next in line. I have a love for CDs. Downloading music just doesn't appeal to me, maybe even to the point I detest it. I don't know, CDs are as classic as vinyl I would love to have a vinyl but playing machines are hard and expensive to find. Albums are somewhat close to it so I'll take what I can get. In short, they are classics. 3. Losing erasers. I wouldn't say this is an obsession, but a habit, but whatever. It's a skill. If there was an award, I would be a shoe-in for it. The award clearly being an eraser, which would be terrible and ironic because I would lose it in matter of seconds. 4. Maximum Ride. This has a unique plot, captivating to say the least. Fang, which I need to point out, is absolutely perfect and magnificent, oh my gosh. Fax, holy- I'm getting off topic. Kids with wings, it's taking sci-fi to a level of epicness. Easy. Read it, you'll love it, until the end, well good luck reading the end. My heart just shattered, ugh. 5. Lorien Legacies. AMAZING, needless to add, pointless to go on because that's all I can say. And that's a huge understatement. 6. Logan Lerman. Hands down, gorgeous, beautiful, all of the above. Done. 7. Bitstrips. I'm a child at heart. Comic making is great, you can easily express the art on the screen, though with my computer, hah, no. 8. Mayday Parade. WOOT! Mayday Parade has those eye grabbing lyrics. Good music includes lyrics, meaning they have to have a thought. The words in Mayday Parade songs are amazing. Just read them and you'll be astonished with the messages. Same rule goes with My Chemical Romance. People often underestimate them because they are just rock bands, thinking all they due is screw up and go in the alley, abusing their body with alcohol and taking the green. It's stereotypical, thinking they don't have the capacity to take their music to a whole new level of meaning. Both bands have insane lyrical messages. They are thoughtful deep, poetic, and just plain amazing, to say the least. 9. Correcting People. You read the earlier one. IF you have bad memory, well sucks for you. 10. Saying the word 'nuts'. Sorry, this is a habit but it's practically written on stone, so whatever. Nuts, it's like a habit of people saying f*ck or the most hated word, well to me at least...YOLO. |
