Set back in the Quarter Quell after the beach scene in Catching Fire. What if Peeta agreed to run away with Katniss that night when she asked him to? What if they never lost track of one another during the last few moments in the arena? Would they both end up in the Capital, or would the rebels rescue them in time? A concept I’ve been pondering over-a lot of “what ifs”

The winter holidays were a big thing in the Capitol, something that lasted for days every December, and probably Effie's favorite time of the year. There would be balls, gifts, amazing dinner and feasts. So it was only natural that Effie hoped to have a magical time this year as well. Post-Mockingjay; Effie tries to adapt to Twelve. Hayffie centric with some Everlark.

No one really cared when Katniss' life imploded, and her family was forced to close the breeding stables they had run since prior to her birth… no one except a sweet, strange boy from one of the most prestigious horse families in the country, who threw her a lifeline when no one else would.

Katniss was ready for the war to be over, but didn't know what life afterwards was supposed to be. A story set in between the final chapters of Mockingjay and the epilogue, following canon. Updated once a week. Reviews/feedback are much loved and appreciated.

Putting yourself back together after falling apart is the hardest thing to do. But Katniss has always been a survivor... And maybe now she can even learn how to thrive. Post-Mockingjay, canon compliant, Katniss and Peeta healing and growing back together.

Written for Winter in Panem/Pregnant with no place to give birth Peeta&Katniss find shelter at Finnick's: Peeta carefully placed her on the bed, -then sat behind her. He rubbed her arms, bringing her up against his chest. He soothed Katniss in the midst of her pain. Finnick could see this was not the hasty lust youth often confused as love. These kids were deeply in love. ModernAU

Story based on Mockingjay (Part 2 film version) and picks up where Katniss leaves Peeta in Tigress' shop while she goes to continue her fight with the Capitol. The story is told from Peeta, Gale and eventually Katniss' POV as we find out what happens to each of them in the missing timelines. I hope you enjoy the way I have filled the gaps for each of the characters.

After that kiss, they kiss in the morning when a cup of tea is brewing, they kiss when they potter around the houses and they kiss in the evening while dinner is cooking and when they're cuddled up on the couch watching the television. If Haymitch noticed anything then he didn't bring it up during their weekly dinners together.
