Gail Peck meets Dr Holly Stewart, Ottawa's top forensic pathologist on a plane on the way to a crime conference in NYC. In a rather un-Gail-Peck-like manner, Gail makes fast friends with Holly, whose easy going attitude doesn't for once put the blonde off. When Gail feels herself letting down her guard, things start to get a bit complicated.

This is mostly a conversation type of fanfic not much narration in this storyline. Mostly Gail's point of view. I wrote this while I was deployed so I kinda thought now is the time to post this and see what you guys think. Gail is a Sgt. In the Marine Corps, comes home after 5 years of being deployed.

Trying to deal with her emotions after being betrayed by Nick and Andy, Gail is in the midst of her healing process when her new neighbor busts into her apartment unannounced.

Psuedo season 6. Holly is forced back to Toronto because of a series of copycat murders that have Perik's signature. Will she come back to Gail too? Rated M due to adult themes.

Gail Peck is not "just" a Peck, but getting to reinvent yourself beyond your family when you've been born into the Peck Dynasty is not a simple nor easy journey. One summer Gail is forced to stay at the boarding school instead of going to Europe. She learns Holly spends every summer at the boarding school because her parents died. The two eventually fall in love over the summer.

Gail goes through the five stages of grief after breaking up with Holly.
