Max's ruthless future self sidesteps the limitations of her focus power by leaving written letters in the past. Desperate to save both Chloe and Arcadia Bay's populous, she mercilessly manipulates the past in order to save the future. This story follows a past Max, Chloe and Victoria as they struggle to enact the instructions in these letters from tomorrow. A slightly satirical AU.

Chloe takes Max to visit Kate in the hospital. Chloe and Kate find out they have more in common than they thought.

Then Max realized that maybe there was another way. A way to fix all this destruction and chaos. And she promised herself to take that chance, whatever the cost. Because she knew, after all that happened, she would do anything for Chloe Price. She focused on the photograph and its borders began to shake a little. And then, she went back through it for the last time...

Chloe is gone and Max has to relive the strangest week of her life anew, though lacking her rewind powers. Her knowledge of events and people has some rather interesting consequences that she never could have imagined, mysterious text messages, and the single worst thing that could happen to Max after losing Chloe. Ignorant of all this time travel and suddenly dropped in the Main Timeline, Alternate Max is confronted with the painful realization that it wasn't an accident, or a time traveler, or an evil conspiracy that ruined everything. But to see Chloe whole again...

Chloe Price received a letter. A letter from someone she would have known, would have been her best friend, would have shared adventures with her. If that person actually existed in her life.
