Obsessions:

Invader Zim-- This has got to be my number one. Ever. I distinctly remember watching this when I was a child... and was therefore enthralled when I rediscovered it. Yay me! My absolute top-favorite pairing is ZADR. Don't ask me why, it's just... well, Zim and Dib could be friends, of sorts, and that could be twisted into ZADR. Heh. Yes... heh. Other pairings I support include GAGF and (somewhat) GAGR (it's cute... and GAGR works really well in a crackfic... hee), GATR (this is actually a bit plausible, since Gaz and Tak are similar, and 'canonly,' they don't really know each other, so we don't exactly know what they feel about each other), and RAPR (heh... yeah. Don't ask me why.).

JtHM-- A friend recently got me into it...she gave me a Jthm issue for my 13th b-day!!! I think that's the best gift I've ever received...ever...

Artemis Fowl-- AH. AH. AH. AH. Ha, yes, I do love AH. They're friends now, so it's quite easy to imagine their relationship to become... you know, romantic. Yes, there's the interspecies aspect, but that does not bother me (I am a supporter of ZADR.). Also, there's the huge "age gap." Once again, I am a supporter of ZADR (Zim is supposedly over a hundred years old... I think.). So, that does not really bother me either. Yes, if you hate ZADR and AH, you probably think I'm sick. If you like AH and hate ZADR, or vice-versa, then I think there's something wrong with you. --grins--
About Minerva... no, I don't like her. Of course, many anti-Minerva-ers usually say that it's because she's a Mary Sue. However, I am sad to say, that Minerva is not exactly the definition of a Mary Sue. Apparently, a Mary Sue has no flaws, yes? Well, Minerva does have flaws, the same flaws that Artemis had in the same book: you know, selfish, cold, yadda-yadda. But Minerva does have Sue-ish qualities, such as high intelligence and attractive appearance. For myself, I... hm... I just don't like her because she's too similar to Artemis. Too much.

Yu-gi-oh-- Ha, I'm really weird. I must say, tendershipping is my absolute top favorite. Another one is puzzleshipping. I don't really much care for bronzeshipping, but I like it as a side pairing. One pairing that I don't really know why it has so many fangirls is puppyshipping. Sure, I don't mind it, but... I never really cared for it much. Huh. First time I seem to be in the minority side.

Love and Hate
Yes, I think we all saw this coming: 'Love and Hate' is now officially on hiatus. I'm sorry, but I really can't think of anything. So I'm waiting till inspiration strikes. So wait. I know you have been waiting, but you get it...right?
Edit: I am going to rewrite this story. Seriously. I am. I just took a look at it and went 'omigoodness.' It was horrible. I need to rewrite it. Rewrite it when I get the chance. In the meantime, don't anybody go and read it. If you do out of pure curiosity, please hold the flames. I already know it's horrible.

Hurrah! I am now doing a search on the most well-written, actually likeable OCs that, even if they're not really going to fall in love with any of the characters, are still... you know, well-written. If you know any stories that you think have good OCs in them that don't manage to cross the line into Mary Sue-dom, then please feel free to PM me. Remember, the pairing of the story doesn't have to be canon/OC, it just has to have a likeable-enough original character in 'em.

My sister is doing the same search, so feel free to PM her, if you like. It was actually her idea. So... yeah. The same above paragraph (and then some) could be seen at her profile.

She's doing this for entertainment, apparently, and I'm doing this because it could be a handy reference for those who want to write good OCs.

Likeable OC stories:

1) the human Kribliss (by Swing-21)-- her OCs are the members of the Squeaky crew, which include Captain Taty, the pilot Miik (they have a romantic relationship of sorts, something that the rest of the crew try hard to stay oblivious to [giggles), and the scientist Kinn (she is really quite adorable and amusing.) I myself just finished reading the story, and it's really quite original. Mm... this is a ZADR, so if you like ZADR, then I would recommend this story. Seriously.
