HELLO! I'm StellaMay (at least that's what I go by on the internet) and I am an 18 year old college student from PA who will be studying in VA. I love reading and writing. I read everything from nonfiction to fantasy to historical to YA fic to poetry to the occasional BR (bodice ripper). I write poetry and attempt to write fiction. I'm addicted to fanfiction; although I do not write it myself, I LOVE to read it, especially in the fandoms of RENT and Harry Potter. However I also read the occasional X-Files, Jane Austen, or other genres as well. As of right now, I don't plan on posting too much of my own writing here but I do plan to keep reading. Maybe I'll even start reviewing, after years of just reading.

Books: can't list them all, there are way too many but some fav authors are Tamora Pierce, Jane Austen, Sherwood Smith, Robin McKinley, David Leviathan, David Sedaris, Shakespeare, JK Rowling, Tracy Chevalier, Phillipa Gregory, Susan Vreeland, Jasper Fforde, Martha Grimes, LM Montgomery, and uhh I think you get the idea

Movies: Amelie, Bend It Like Beckham, Pride and Prejudice (A&E version), Persuasion (w/Amanda Root), Mrs. Henderson Presents, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Moulin Rouge, RENT, Big Fish, Calendar Girls, The Cutting Edge, Dirty Dancing, Cruel Intentions, Importance of Being Earnest, Garden State, Little Women (the new one), The New World, Brokeback Mountain, Walk the Line, and lots of Masterpiece Theatre stuff like the Virgin Queen and Victoria and Albert.

Music: showtunes, Tori Amos, Joan Baez, Simon and Garfunkel, and about a thousand others that I'm too tired to write now.
