In the beginning, there were two friends. Two friends who wrote fanfiction, who also chatted. Little did they know that they shared an obsession. An obsession with Rurouni Kenshin, and more than the title character himself, with the relationships and the world the fabric and textures of Tokyo and Kyoto during the Meiji restoration. As the talks became more heated and the pet peeves more obvious and similiar, they arrived at only one simple conclusion. They must write together.

And so they did. Plans were drawn up for a simple alternative to "Relfections", a three chaptered story arc that told a story more likely to have actually happened, they believe, in the world that Watsuki created than what the folks at that evil electronics company had dreamed up. After a few length discussions about plot, characterization and style, they jumped into what was, unexpectedly, a very deep pool, head first.

The Wandering Road became a growing epic centered mainly around the two authors having a good time with the characters and creating situations that were fun and interesting for them, and hopefully their audience. Three chapters grew and continues to grow in ways the authors do not expect ahead of time, although they are considering writing a sequel to "TWR" once it reaches its seemingly distant conclusion.

Kat Morning is a legend in her own right in the Inuyasha fandom, penning the infamous "Blood Ties" fanfiction, which she still updates periodically (pokes repeatedly) although she's working frantically to correct that problem, as we're all waiting on the edge of our seats to see that work completed.
