Daryl was separated from his family at the beginning of the apocalypse. Just as he loses hope, he finds them on a farm perfectly safe from the dead and other dangers in the real world. Now that they are reunited, they would face the dangers of the world together.

Beth Greene wasn't made for this world of death and generally ugliness, and she was prepared to finish something she started back on the farm, only she's going to need help.
