![]() Some things to know about me Name: Ghost (duh!) Age: hmmm… lost count...(-.-) In my stone ages I think! Gender: ? I question that myself Bent or Straight: Straight! I know my Favorites list may confuse, but there it is! :) SO welcome to my profile! I have no idea why anyone would browse this, but okay. I do dabble in writing, but I never finish anything, and I refuse to be the type of author that leaves things half finished, or has a million and one typos. So chances are, I won't be posting anything. Still, I have worked as an editor for a few places (content/ world editing, not grammar) so I know good writing when I see it. I love fanfiction, It's my guilty pleasure. That's why I have this profile. I need a place to store my favorites and to get updates! Feel free to PM your favorites, I love a good recommendation. I read stories from the works listed below. If you're an Author and need prompts, hit me up. Just because I don't post doesn't mean I can't give you a whole novel's worth of ideas and such. I'd also be glad to give a cursory glance over anything for you guys. Just remember that I suck at broad grammar and am really only good for flow and content editing. Fiction Recommendations for July/2016 Masks by Cordria- Sometimes, people hide who they truly are behind masks. This is a short story about the day that Lancer decides enough is enough when it comes to Daniel Fenton. Sequel is 'Plunge'. (Ghost Note: A Lancer Character study that is brilliantly written) Number Twenty Eight by Sevlow- As of today, Edward Elric had been missing for four months, two weeks, and five days. Warnings for angst, some gore, and Chimera!Ed. (Ghost Note: This is such a Dark but fantastic story that explores the emotional side to human transmutation. No romance, and yet the familiar bond between Roy and Ed is so, so, so well Written) Claustrophobia by Celebony- Harry's childhood comes back to haunt him. A HarryWeasleys bonding fic. (Ghost Note: Okay, but one of the worst things about the Potter series is the lack of closure in regards to Harry's childhood. He was abused. In today society, any kid found living in a small space under the stairs would be labeled mistreated and an investigation on the family would follow. This story explores the consequences that Harry may have dealt with because of that treatment. It also highlights an unsung hero Author Weasely. It is beautiful and though provoking.) June 21st by FelicityGS- Steve has a date book for each year since he joined the Avengers. They sit lined up his desk like little soldiers, bound in a soft and supple brown leather, the year glinting in gold font on the spine. Jarvis has offered before to create him an electronic one, but Steve prefers these. Once, Tony took one to see what he wrote in it, mocking Steve's preference for paper, and when he glanced at one of the pages handed it back immediately, face going dark. Tony did not mock him after that. It is filled with things like August 16th, Doom—2 and September 3rd, Amora—150 Skurg—27. After the city has finally mostly managed to right itself, and after his shower, he sits down at his desk and pulls out the one for this year. He finds the page for June 21st and with the sleek black pen he only uses for this he adds a note: Loki—563.(Ghost Note: There is something absolutely brilliant in this simple story.) Forgetting It's there by Spinstitcher (Stygian)-“You’re Captain America,” he blurts out. “What?” says Captain America, looking a little wide-eyed. He casts a nervous glance at the girl at the counter – he has nothing to worry about there, she’s rocking out to her iPod and could care less what they’re talking about – and says, “No, uh, Steve, it’s just, I’m Steve.” “Right,” says Peter, and then because his brain-to-mouth filter had apparently been completely destroyed in the fight on Oscorp Tower: “Hey, your butt really is as tight as it looks on TV.” (Ghost Note: This story is What The Fuck Hilarious. Just seriously go read it. Oh My god. I love it so much.) Works that I read (Harry Potter was my first fandom and my most adored. Any crossovers with that fandom are welcome. So long as Harry Potter is the central Character and he isn't overly feminized or is way to dumb, family fics are my Favorite as well as deaged Harry) Avatar- General with no romance unless paired with the Harry potter Fandom Avatar: the last airbender- General Aang specific with little romance (preferred Aang/Zuko) Avengers: Tony Stark or Loki centric. I love Stark or Loki paired with most any males. I also love a good General Tony centric. Avenger Crossovers- Teen Wolf (Stiles Centric), Sherlock Holmes(John Cenric) Danny Phantom: Danny Fenton centric. I have a small obsession with Ghostwriter and Clockwork, so pair one of them up with Danny, ya? General Danny Centric welcome Gravity Falls: Stanley Pines (Gruncle Stan) centric General with focus mostly on stan. Time Travel is my jam with this and stancest is my dirty secret. Gundam Wing/ Harry potter Crossover- Harry potter centric- pair harry up with any Gundam male or a great Family fic. I adore family fics. *No Gundam works without crossover please* Hannabil- romance specific for this one. Will Graham/Hannabil Lector The Hobbit- Bilbo centric with little romance and NO THORIN/BILBO PAIRING! I used to like it, but it's gotten real old real fast. Give me time travel and general family fics. lf romance, give me a rare bilbo/Male pairing. Inuyasha-Kagome Centric. I want a character study on Kagome growing up and becoming stronger. If romance is added my preferred pairing is Sesshoumaru/Kagome The Little Vampire- Fluff romance is cute. I definitely need Tony in there, although he doesn't need to be the main focus. Lost Boys- (the old Vampire movie) Sam Centric. Just porn basically. I really wish this was more popular. Pairings sam/any male vamp Naruto- Naruto centric. I am going to admit, I love to pair Naruto up with any and all guys in this. Any guys other than Sasuke. I also love time travel and family fics. fave pairings for this is Shikamaru/Naruto, Gaara/Naruto and Naruto/Random unused ninja (Genma?Kotetsu?Hayate?). Also, Iruka is the most unused father figure EVER. I love him. Give me Naruto/Fatherly Iruka family fics PLEASE! Rise of the Guardians- Jack Frost Centric. general with some romance. I actually prefer this one with nothing explicit, just fluff. Not that I can't go for some hardcore stuff if it is well written. Outsiders- Ponyboy specific. I want happy endings with this one. Also, family fics are great with fave pairing being Pony/Dallas or Pony/Tim Sherlock Holmes- John Watson centric. I want some rare pairings like Mycroft/John. Supernatural/Harry Potter Crossover- Harry potter centric- General with no romance. Give me some family fics *No Supernatural works without crossover please* Teen Titans- Beast boy Centric. I want Beast Boy to grow and become better. I love dark pasts and Emotional Secrets. I only pair him with Robin though... Teen Wolf- Stiles Stilinski Centric- I love stiles being ridiculous and awesome. I pair him with any male, but I love a great bonding family fic. His dad is awesome. [MY STORIES[ Oh, wow.
