![]() Author has written 17 stories for That Was Then, This is Now, Outsiders, and Cinderella. finally coming back to the website after a hiatus of a few good years. hope you enjoy the new stuff, comfort and a warm bed in tulsa, but you check at the old. i'm most proud of dead flowers, but i'd really like to go back and finish cynthia though. i think i'm a little bit darker and sad than some other writers.i try to be realistic. im a sociology major and i've been around people like the outsiders and that was then, this is now characters all my life. i don't think i have any mary sues or romance fics. my two other characters are beli, a thirty-six year old woman with three kids who gives the boys beer, and cynthia, a nut-job who is obsessed with dally. a lot of s.e. hinton's characters are dark though. her characters are poor people, people with a lot of problems. Johnny is suicidal. dally commits suicde. mark cut off angela's hair while she was drunk. Mark went to prison. There's a blond girl so messed up on acid in that was then, this is now that she can't talk straight. I turned her into Sandy in China Blue Beauty to Living Dead Girl. Tim, mark, dallas, and i think steve, too were "bad" guys. but the "bad" characters to me have always been the most interesting. don't worry though, there's always two-bit to lighten things up and cynthia and all the bad boys can be pretty amusing. here are quotes i LOOOVE from The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton Two Bit: Shoot, this house ain't dirty. You ought to see my house. Ponyboy: I have and if you had the sense of a billy goat, you'd clean your house up 'stead of bummin' 'round ours. Two Bit: Shoot, if I did that, my mom would die of shock. From S.E. Hinton's Rumblefish Steve: I don't know why someone hasn't taken a gun to your head and blown it off. The Motorcycle Boy: Even the most primitive of societies have an innate respect for the insane. from movie Drugstore Cowboy: Bob(Matt Dillon:)“Most people don't know how they're gonna feel from one moment to the next. But a dope fiend has a pretty good idea. All you gotta do is look at the labels on the little bottles.” From a poem by my sister: "So maybe I screwed up all over you and maybe you screwed up all over me I'll still end up forgetting about you but baby, I'll still remember me." Interesting facts from Amazon.com "During filming, the actors playing the "soc"s were given leather-bound scripts and were put up in luxury accommodations, while the "greasers" were given battered paperback scripts and had to stay in the ground floor of the hotel, as director Francis Coppola wanted to create tension between the two groups." rumble fish-"A clock can be seen in every scene of this movie." |
