よろしくおねがいします！

I've been reading fanfiction for years, and actually made an account a few years ago, but never had the courage to publish anything. But I told myself I would get something up here before I turned twenty, and I did! (Literally the night before. Like, just a few hours before my birthday.)

The fandom I've undeniably written the most for is Hetalia, because I'll be sitting in history class or geography class learning something, and I'll start to wonder how the countries involved would feel about the event, and then *bam!* suddenly a plot bunny bursts out and runs around the classroom.

Other series I love include Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, Senyuu, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Avatar the Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Lord of the Rings, Rise of the Guardians, How to Train Your Dragon, and anything by Team Starkid.

Just a warning, I am a college student and very, very busy, so I probably will not be able to update my stories as frequently as I may want to. And I have this terrible, awful habit of not starting what I write at the beginning; I just sort of skip to the middle where it gets interesting, or I tend to skip transitions between events because I either can't think of them or I just want to move on to the more interesting stuff. Also, I have a horrible case of writing-ADD, and will sometimes just stop writing one story because I've gotten a new idea for a different one. Because of all this, I have dozens of half-written stories and very few actually finished stories, which is why I like to finish a story before I publish it (and therein lies the reason why I haven't published anything...)

So, I'll try to update as frequently as I can, and preferably will only publish stories that are finished or I am really truly committed to finishing.

Ah, and about my username: I am an older sister... and I like cats... (yeah, pretty lame logic...かっこよくないですね)
In case you don't know, "aneko" (姉子) is a Japanese name that means "older sister" and "neko" (猫) means "cat"
I'm in my second year of Japanese, so I'm comfortable including Japanese words in my profile. I'm not like one of those people that add "です" (desu) to the ends of random sentences and call it speaking Japanese (not to offend you if you are one of those people, but it doesn't really make sense; です basically means "is" and it would only make sense to tack that onto the end of a sentence if you're speaking a language with a subject-object-verb grammar structure, and English is subject-verb-object)

ahem* speaking of which, I really love languages. Modern languages, dead languages, fictitious languages... all of 'em. And especially for my Hetalia stories, I like to incorporate foreign languages into my stories. I know that google translate is crap, but I still use it for all languages except Spanish and Japanese (for those, I have a Spanish-English dictionary plus knowledge from five years of Spanish, and Denshi Jisho plus knowledge from two years of Japanese). So if you ever come across a linguistic mistake in one of my stories, please tell me so I can fix it and learn from it!
