I always hate filling these things out as I'm never sure what to say. How do you put an entire person into a piece of text? Though i suppose this is what we do with characters in stories- create a bieng purely made up of words. Either way, as of writing this I am 19 and I live in Perth, Western Australia. I have been writing stories, poetry and reading like a bookworm on crack since i was very little. Obviously the stories have improved since i was in primary school. :D My stories tend to go hard on scince fiction and fantasy, though it all depends on what my current obsession is. Previous obsessions have been vampires, vampire fiction (particularly Laurell K. Hamilton and Anne Rice's works), x- men and various fantasy series. Pretty much if it contains swinging swords or elven creatures who hunt with bows or people with special powers, i'm interested in reading it. If it contains hot 18th century french noblemen then i'm VERY interested in reading it :P My current Obssession?? In one acronym: WoW. Whether you love it or hate it, for the past six months i can't get enough of it. If that makes me a geek then so be it :D I recently rejoined this site to read some of the WoW fanfics on here during my lunch break. I have several ideas coming to fruition in my head for fanfics based on WoW and they'll be the first few when i start getting them out of my head and on to paper, to make it to your computer monitor. Though i have fanfics for a couple other franchises floating around in the empty space that is my head and there's a good chance they'll get a peek in too. I tend to switch from book to book, author to author depending on my mood so i'll probably have a few stories going at once. (This same lack of attention span is why i have yet to get a character to level 70 despite the many i have created). I also tend to go silent for months at a time and not write inevitably, so be warned. That's all I can really say here i guess, so hope you R&R my works and enjoy :) Many Happy Readings, CQ |
