Hi! I'm Quinn (obviously... Haha!) I started writing fanfic somewhere in 2014, and, honestly, I think my stories are getting a little weirder every time I do a new update. My writing style is not quite "non-canon"- rather, it's more like what I would call "anti-canon". If you read my stories, you would probably know what I mean, since they all walk the borderline between respectful parody and revisionist farce. I also use my fanfiction as a platform for preaching my views on society, and sometimes as a form of self-therapy. In other words... THIS WEBSITE IS JUST TOO FUN!!!!! :D

Now, you may one day think to yourself, "Wow! Quinn sure has a lot of OCs! I wonder if any of them are Mary Sue types..." The answer is, "Well, darling reader, that's exactly the reason I gave the character Geb the fate which he ended up having. I just couldn't tolerate having the perfect me wandering around, even in the fictional world." So there. Ha!

Some facts about me:

~ I come from the Cascadia region of North America. (Ten to one it'll never become its own country, but, for the time being, it's one of the most wonderful places on Earth!)
~ I have five siblings, all biological.
~ I'm quadrilingual, speaking English, Chinese, Spanish, and French. I also speak smatterings of "Scandi" (pretty much a mixture of Swedish and Norwegian that I picked up over a few years... Haha!)
~ One of my favorite foods is chocolate chocolate chip zucchini cake.
~ Besides taking classes at a university, I work part-time at a library.
~ My faith in God is very important to me. If it weren't for Him, I would be in a pitiful, sorry state.

Some of my many, many OCs include:

John Lennon Schliwinsky-Kang, or Lennon Kang, a shy but honest conversationalist from Chicago (and Pancaketown), Illinois. In the Divergent universe, he is an Amity who transfers to Candor, then seeks asylum in Abnegation due to his Divergence. Eventually, he has to move outside of the gate. In my TMR AU, he is Minho's "dweeby gothic cousin", who encourages him to enter the Trials instead of commit violence by going to war. In both universes, he has at some point a relationship with Ella Whiteeagle, and has been estranged from his biological father.

Geb Sequoyah Whiteeagle, my Mary Sue. (To be honest, he's more what I sometimes wish to be like, rather than what I actually am like). In the Divergent universe, he is an Amity who transfers to Abnegation, but participates fully in both faction's cultures. He is skilled with (minor) conflict resolution, and is extremely outgoing. His inability to conform to societal standards often made him a target to more legalistic individuals, though this only gave him a deep sympathy for Divergents, whom he'd sometimes give asylum to. As of yet, Geb has only appeared briefly in the TMR AU.

Matthew van Pels Rolfe, Lennon's best friend. In the Divergent universe, Matthew is an Abnegationer who transfers to Candor due to his inability to conform, a character trait created disapproval which triggered states of depression and self-hate. In general, though, he is quite optimistic, and Lennon proves to be a good influence on him. His parents, Olgaba and Elgobelia, acknowledge and accept his faction transfer, despite a few concerns. In the TMR AU, Matthew joins the Trials so as to stay with Lennon for emotional support, which rouses Minho's jealousy. (Haha!)

Ella/Delilah Whiteeagle, Geb's favorite sister and Lennon's love interest. Artistic, clever, and somewhere between sympathetic and manipulative, in the Divergent universe her side-job is to out Divergents to Jeanine Matthews in exchange for her the lives of her family members. She transfers from Amity to Candor, (at some point during that period of time, she changes her personal name), and works in both initiate simulations and journalism. She is mentioned for brief moments in the TMR AU.
