So, I had the best of intentions. After struggling with weeks of writer's block and making this story happen in original form I turned to fanfiction. And it gave me a boost, but the simple truth is that once I got over the hump I struggled with writing this story as fanfiction. And since it won't be finished as fanfiction, it's coming down now. No sense in keeping it up as is.

Further, while I'm putting it out there...

I used to write under the name Jillian Landers. I created this name so I could write in peace and out from under the watchful eyes of people in my personal life I had been trying to cut ties with. Thankfully, they have moved on and that means I can, too. Bite to Break Skin has since been re-posted under the name Jillian Landers and will see completion (one day.)

The only reason I'm really sharing any of this (not that anyone cares) is to stave off worries of plagiarism. If you see stories written by Jillian Landers or April Showers published under another name in an original form, it's okay. We're the same person. :)
