He's been her anchor for so long. Her constant. She thinks about how hard she worked to distance herself from everyone. From him. Looking into his eyes was like looking into a reflection of her own soul. He knows her. He's always known her, maybe even before he knew he did.

The group is back together and have coordinated with the other colonies to fight Negan. Carol joins in on the fight to protect Daryl, but won't admit it. They try to put their plan into action, and things go bad. Set to happen almost right after the Season 7 mid-season premiere.

Daryl visits Carol in the infirmary whilst she is on some pretty strong pain medication.

When she doesn't see him with the rest of them her heart is in her throat and that dread she'd felt earlier comes back. Michonne's words echoing in her ears sending her on a mission. [Prompt]

When he turned around to face her, Carol couldn't seem to tear her eyes away from him. He was dressed all in black, his buttoned shirt open just enough to expose a little of his chest hair and she was almost positive that he was unaware of the effect he had on many women in the joined communities. Season 7/8 Interlude. Ezekiel makes a move. Carol makes a gut decision and eventually finds her place in the war again. Caryl.

After welcoming the Woodbury residents to the prison, Daryl starts feeling a little crowded and needs some space. Of course he manages to get himself into trouble as usual, but maybe the outcome isn't so unpleasant. (Finished, 3 chapters, This is not a guide for how to deal with hypothermia!)

After escaping Negan, Daryl forms a new alliance that brings hope to Alexandria and healing to Maggie and Sasha. Canon through 7.4, then AU. Daryl-centric with an ensemble cast. Eventual Caryl. Suspense, Action, Drama, Friendship, Angst, and Romance.

Daryl and Merle can't seem to find common ground at the prison, leading to constant tension. On a supply run with Carol they once again find themselves at each others throats. The next day, they wake up to realize that they are really going to see what it is like in the other's shoes... Or skin. (Comedy) Basically season 3 except Merle didn't die, obviously. All Caryl, as usual.

Carol and Daryl grow closer on a run for formula, but when the prison is lost, a wedge is driven between them, and they begin to drift apart. Will they be able to renew their relationship in the Kingdom?

"Adrien chose to come here, and he worked hard to be accepted for himself, rather than as his father's son. The least we can do is give him the chance he deserves to stay." In which Adrien's life goes to hell in a handbasket, and Marinette's response is to plan a rebellion.

One of Marinette's rare unlucky days turns into something treacherous. Thanks to a certain cat, the real danger passes but there are other things to be more afraid of. Her heart, for example, might be one of them. Mari/Chat.

Prompt Fill: In Terminus, Gareth tells Rick that, as ringleader, he must pick one of the group in the train car to be sacrificed, but Rick refuses. Gareth attempts to convince Rick to choose by using Daryl, who has obviously already been beaten. To them it's about enjoyment of causing people pain, both physical and mental, not about just getting food.

A sequel to Secret Santa! Adrien swallows his nerves and invites Marinette to a New Year's gala.

Adrien and Marinette draw each others names in their classes secret santa and do their best to get the perfect gift.

Daryl gets hurt while on a run by himself. After getting checked out it's decided he'll live, but he's in pain. Carol saves the day when she gives him some powerful pain killers but now she is stuck dealing with a very stoned and very loose lipped Daryl. He lets a few things slip. Rated for Dixon mouth and sexual innuendo.

After Terminus the group finds a small reprieve and Merle decides to intervene in Daryl's personal life in true Merle fashion. It's pretty AU because Merle is alive and he was the one with Carol while the group was separated instead of Tyreese. Just something a little humorous that I never thought I would post. Like everything else. Caryl short story.

After Grady the group moves on. No one is sure where they are going or what they will find when they get there but it turns into one hell of a journey. Revelations lead to rivalry within the group and when another tragedy strikes they have to find a way to pick up the pieces and keep going. That's easier said than done for some. Caryl

Response to a prompt on Tumblr... "It's not meant to bend like that." After Carol and Tyreese liberate the group from Terminus, she realises that Daryl is no longer with them. She heads back to find him, but he's injured. Some pre-fluff, Caryl snuggles, and Carol gives Rick a piece of her mind. Now a multi-chap! Reviews addressed at the end of each chapter.

But how much of who they used to be had been swept away too? A story of two damaged souls discovering going forwards means going back & facing the things that once held you. Carol finds herself playing the role of rescuer when she learns that Daryl was left behind at Woodbury. She teams up with an unlikely character as she fights to keep her group safe from the Governor.

After leaving the farm and while the group is searching for a new safe place, Daryl crashes his bike while avoiding a little girl standing alone and alive in the middle of the road. Gen, shameless Daryl whump.

"Carol stared at the wall. She was lying on her side in an unfamiliar bed—a stranger's bed, abandoned until she'd taken it up the night before. It rested in an abandoned room. An abandoned house.
