Hello to everyone at fanfiction.net. My name is Carla, I am 25 years old and I live in Canada. I am actually a student trying to complete my Masters in Gerontology (seniors). I am currently working on my thesis which requires a lot of writing, but of the academic sort. I had no intentions of writing fanfiction (I enjoy reading mostly), but I have felt inhibited by my research (a study on older women and homelessness) and the academic, statistical work required. In a moment of despair, I just started typing and it was a huge release. I am not creative by nature so this is a huge leap, but I think a leap of faith is warranted in life - at least once anyway. I enjoy reading many of the stories on the site and look forward to creating many of my own.
