I am the avid fanfiction reader formerly know as xLeabharxGirlx and welcome to my new profile! I adore Harry Potter and the Harry Potter fandom has brought me lots of joy over the years, though I did arrive into the fandom coming towards the end of its heyday (after the publication of all the books but about 3 years before the last movie). I'm ashamed to admit that before that I was preoccupied with Twilight fanfiction... which just goes to show that on reading Twilight (and in the years to follow, its sequels) it was obvious that the original could be improved on by fanfiction authors. I don't read Harry Potter fanfic to read improvements on the story... I'm part of the HP fandom because I just can't seem to let go! I don't write fanfic, though I regret not putting some of my ideas and plots online now. I have this new profile because I'm trying to cut down on the amount of time I spend reading fanfic (it's time to start reading regular books..) - my old profile had over 850 favourite stories, and that doesn't include the stories that I read but didn't favourite! This was crazy, and I won't allow myself to do that again! I'm setting rules for myself for this new profile - At any one time I: WILL NOT HAVE MORE THAN 25 FAVOURITE STORIES WILL NOT HAVE MORE THAN 5 FAVOURITE AUTHORS WILL SHOW MY APPRECIATION TO ALL FANFICTION.NET AUTHORS BY REVIEWING Hopefully I will be able to stick to these limits! I'm looking forward to more reading on fanfiction.net in the Harry Potter fandom, but also occasionally in the Twilight, Lord of the Rings and Sherlock fandoms! I admire the authors who bravely upload their work and kindly share the most brilliant stories with readers like myself. I will admit that I have read fanfiction stories which could both rival and surpass published novels and am excited to discover more of these!
