My name is Therese. I'm 29 years old. I have a BSc in mathematics and an MSc in computer sciences. I work at a university as a research assistent.

English is not my native tongue, but I do consider it my primary language. More often than not I find myself thinking in English and translating back to my native tongue when I need to verbalise my thoughts (to someone who doesn't appreciate me yapping in English). Somehow I have far less trouble expressing myself in English, where as in my native tongue I frequently have trouble finding the right word. However, while I do prefer English in written and spoken form both from myself and others, my English is not flawless. I'm having a lot of fun reading the stories on this website as well as writing some myself, which I hope will further improve my written English. If I make any mistakes, blatant or not, please let me know; I'll correct them and try to do better.

STATUS: I've been struggling with health problems, which has put me behind quite a bit on my dissertation. Consequently, I have had little to no opportunity to read any fanfiction, but I intend to catch up. I'm also slowly taking up writing again, so I hope I'll be back with another fic some time in the future. I won't start posting any story until it's finished though, because I think there are already too many unfinished stories out there.
