I'm not entirely new to Fanfiction, but this is my first time attempting to add any of my own after years of reading other peoples' (usually superior) work. Honestly, fiction writing has never been my thing, but every now and then, a story pops into my head that just begs to be written... and occasionally, the end result isn't too scary to share with the world. I hope.

As for myself, I've always been prone to long periods of writers' block, but I may be around when I feel inspired. When I'm not busy assaulting the world with run-on sentences, I can usually be found playing video games or sleeping. Sometimes even writing awkward profile summaries.

A quick note to go along with Empty Garden, while I'm thinking about it...

If you've read the story, listened to the album version of the song (provided you didn't already know it), and still didn't manage to grasp the sheer awesomeness of it, go to youtube and search for a video of Elton John's live performance of the song in 1999. It's one of the more popular ones, as of last I checked. Yes, his voice is a bit off, but so far, it's the most emotional and incredibly moving rendition that I've found. If you still listen to that and don't cry, you should seriously consider getting professional help (or perhaps dyeing your hair), because you obviously have no soul.
