![]() Author has written 3 stories for Twilight. Hi. So, I've "returned" multiple times and claimed I would (a) write more stories and (b) continue Metamorphosis. Neither happened. I'm not here to make promises I can't keep, but, rather, to reflect on how writing fanfiction has affected me. I've written 2 stories that became "big" (I guess I could say that). Not relatively, but by my own standards. Red is my most popular story and I still get the occasional email telling me someone followed/favorited it. Red is my pride. Now that I've evolved a bit, I don't think Red is great. The writing, the plot, the characters -- subpar. But it's the first story I completed and that received recognition. For those who don't write fanfiction stories, let me just say this: reading a glowing review or even a short review saying something akin to "this story is so good!" and "you're a great writer. thanks for writing this story," is such a gratifying feeling. I feel like I can explode out of happiness when I read these kinds of reviews. I have a pretty low self-esteem, so reading kind reviews | |||||||
