This story takes many of the mechanics of the Bleach universe (Zanpakuto, Kido, ect.) and adds them to the mechanics of the game Sword Art Online. Note: This story will not be short. I plan on detailing every individual floor and boss fight instead of skipping over large increments of time. We will actually see the characters leveling up and becoming stronger throughout the story.

What happens when a God dies? What happens when you are chosen to be his heir? Ichigo never thought to ask these questions, but with the revelation that he has been chosen to be the new Spirit King he is wishing that he had. As time runs out and the pressure on him mounts, threats close to the throne and creation itself dying forces him to learn what it is to fill a God's Throne.

A/U: Victory came at a price. Aizen's defeat left the Soul Society in shambles, and the balance of souls collapsed. So, Ichigo Kurosaki was sent back in time to stop it from ever happening and arrived that same faithful night that Hisana made the biggest mistake of her life. From there things began anew...
