In Japanese, the word sakka means writer. That is what I am, a writer.*

My name is Lacey. I am a nineteen years old, living on my own in a small Northern California town, while attending community college until my General Education is complete. One day, I wish to be a novelist and a teacher. I wish to teach English in Japan, and literature here in the states. I wish to learn many languages, and travel all over the world. But for now, I am content to be me.

I have been writing fan fiction for roughly six years. I started with Star Trek: Voyager, and then moved on to other shows, before going full circle and writing for Star Trek: Enterprise. That is where I am now. Fan fiction has taught memuch about writing. It has helped my skill grow, but it wasn't fan fiction alone that did so. Readers like you have encouraged me and helped me, by reviewing my work, and offering constructive crticism. I hope you enjoy my stories, and I ask you to please leave your constructive criticism. The Vulcan Heart

Detailed Summary: A young Vulcan/Human hybrid, raised by Vulcan parents after her own were killed in an accident, heads to the two-hundred-forty-five year old house her biological parents left to her, seeking to unlock the secrets of her past, and come to terms with her quarter-human heritage. While there, she discovers the diaries of T'Pol, depicting the forgotton love story between her great great grandmother and grandfather, the first Vulcan and Human couple to ever marry.

Timeline: This story is set in both the future, 2399, and in the current Enterprise timeline, starting with the episode "Home". This will definately be considered Alternate Universe after a few more episodes air.

Characters: Some characters from previous Star Trek series' make cameos, but the story focuses almost exclusivly on the relationship between Charles Tucker III, and T'Pol.

Spoilers: There are none in the first chapter, but throughout the story there will be spoilers for all aired episodes, as well as what is known of Season 4.
