This story was inspired by a scene in WCTH S2E1: Jack & Elizabeth arrive at the Thatcher home and make plans to meet in town a mere two hours later. They seem quite at ease to kiss goodbye! I found myself dwelling on Jack & Elizabeth's unseen trip from Coal Valley and Hamilton. This is my version of that "missing scene."

A Wade and Zoe Story. Picks-up after their break-up, but does not follow the show. This is how I imagined them finding their way back to each other.

Zoe is in crisis, her erratic behavior spiraling out of control. Someone needs to step in to save her. Story picks up BEFORE Zoe and Wade sleep together at the end of 2x21.

Based on the 2x22 promo, this is my take on the conversation between Lemon & Wade in the car.

A Wade story. Set Pre 2x17...We know from the promo that Jonah is back in town. This is a version of how this episode could unfold.

Based on the TV mini-series, this story takes place after dinner but before the end of the evening. I always felt there was a scene missing that bridges the argument between Margaret and Mr. Thorton at the dinner party to him expressing is love for her after the riot the next day.

The story takes place after the Battle of the Bands & the confrontation alluded to in the promo for episode 2x16. I was heart broken after episode 2x15, and the previews for 2x16 did little to alleviate it. Then I heard the song "Be My Only," and this story started swirling inside my head. Remember the mantra of several HoD characters: Baby Steps.
