Katla Mikaelson became a vampire at the age of 16 after experiencing a terrible trauma. Like her brother Kol, she also lost her magic along with her sanity. Yet she stayed by her brother's side, remaining the light of his life and the only part left of his humanity.

Jace is dead. Clary has lost EVERYONE. Clary, Alec and Izzy have dealt with it in their own way but Alec wasn't prepared for Clary's choice on how to relieve the pain and catches her on a suicide mission, she's convinced there is nothing left for her. Once Alec stops her, they begin to show each other that life is still worth living even without their parabatai or their lover.FLUFF

This is a slight retelling of some of the events of City of Glass. When Jace gets killed by Valentine, how does Alec react to the breaking of their parabatai bond? Can anyone, including Magnus, help him through the pain? Can he even begin to cope with the loss of Jace so soon after the loss of Max as well?

Jace goes to the Shadowhunter Academy with Clary to give a lecture to the Nephilim and Mundane teenagers about parabatais. The lesson soon becomes a discussion about Alec as most Shadowhunters despised Alec for being different, making Jace's blood boil and respond violently. As Clary can't understand her boyfriend's odd behaviour, she takes Jace to Alec. Jalec (friendship).

What happened to Max? While his siblings fight his killer, Max watches. All Max can do is watch. Until a very curious death occurs...(Spoilers for TID later on)

When Magnus got an urgent call from Clary, he hadn't thought his task would be to accomplish the impossible. Will he be able to deal with the horror set before him? Malec centric, but focuses on the bond between Parabatai. Magnus/Alec. Jace/Alec (Brotherly love).
