Author has written 2 stories for Tales of Symphonia. Age: 18 Gender: Male Country: United States Profile Last Updated: July 23, 2007 Favorite Games (in no particular order): - The Guardian Legend (for the old NES) = This is THE BEST GAME EVER. Forget anything else. You cannot persuade me otherwise. This was the first video game I had and I have beaten it over 100 times. Its amazing. Now all they need to do is to remake it, and we'll have the best game of all time (IMHO) - Tales of Symphonia = Great game. I happened to buy it the day I saw the trailer for it. Played it all weekend and beat it in three days (play time: 43 hrs). The cover promised 80 hrs of gameplay, so a little disappointing, but after completing all the side quests, it was alot closer (76 hrs. Includes second playthrough with Kratos instead of Zelos) so I guess its okay. Still, this has to be one of the best Action RPG games ever. - Tales of Phantasia (SNES and GBA) = I just love the Tales games (at least those that I've gotten my hands on). I haven't played any of the ones on the Playstation. On a side note, I personally think that the Eternal Sword looks far better in theSNES version. - Star Fox (64 and Assault) = First game I had on the 64 was this one, and I've gotten quite confident in my skills as a pilot. Assault was great as well. I just love the playing style and it seems to come rather natural to me, so I enjoy it. - Fire Emblem = I have all three that came out in the US. I've beaten Sacred Stones using both paths, gotten all secret characters, and unlocked all the support conversations. For Path of Radiance, I've only beaten it twice. I'm working on beating the first one to come out in English (they didn't give it a title in the US) with Hector and on unlocking the supports right now. - Megaman = I loved the games on the NES (and I've beaten all of them too, a long time ago). I've played Megaman 7 and Megaman & Forte on the SNES as well as X1-3. I think Command Mission could've been alot better, but it was still okay. I'm also a big fan of the Megaman Zero and the Megaman Battle Network games even if BN does get tedious at times. I've beaten MMZ 1-4 (all of them so far) and MMBN 2-6. - Final Fantasy = I've played every one of them on the SNES as well as Dawn of Souls. I've seen Advent Children and Last Order. It seems that FF7 was the best, but unfortunately I have never gotten to play it. So, that being said, I would say that my favorite was FF6 although I think the leveling system from FF5 was better. - Phantasy Star = PS1 was a good game, PS2 was even better, and PS4 was amazing (don't ask about PS3, it wasn't worthy of being in the series, IMHO). After that, PS online 1 + 2 was yet another great game (for multiplayer), though it got boring at times when playing offline, as I always did. PSO 3 was really good, though it wasn't much of a PS game, being card based. Overall, I'd say it was a great series. - Legend of Zelda = I've played both the ones on the NES, and though they are good, they aren't exceptional. I've also played Link's Awakening (GB), which was better, but still not that good. A Link to the Past on SNES was really fun, as were both the Oracle games (seasons and ages). However, my favorite is Ocarina of Time. That is the BEST game on the N64 in my opinion. I've also beaten Majora's Mask. It's an amazing game worthy of being placed alongside Ocarina of Time. It has its good parts and it has its bad parts. I think that the game played better and the depth to the side quests was much better the OoT, but the 3 days limit and the perpetual switching between masks was a bit tedious. Overall, I liked Ocarina of Time better, but I think it came really close. Hoping i'll be able to get Twilight Princess soon. Fan Fiction current percentage: I'll warn everyone right now that my update speed will be dismal. Holidays are over and I'm going to be VERY busy with work and studies. Tales of Symphonia: Novelization: considering The Kharlan Wars (Tales of Symphonia): currently on chapter 20 (0 percent completed / completion expected by August 14... hopefully) Two Paths, Two Heroes (Tales of Symphonia): Completed If you know any good fanfics dealing with either what happened before Tales of Symphonia or with the connection between Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Phantasia, please inform me via email or PM. |
