![]() Author has written 3 stories for Sonic the Hedgehog, and Star Wars. Something really cool that everyone should check out. A Song played around the world from Playing for Change, "Stand By Me": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us-TVg40ExM Have You Ever Wondered What it would be like to live with no arms and legs? The answer is probably no, but this man lives that question every day. His name is Nick Vujicic, and I sincerely recomend looking him up. Here is a message about never giving up, another video about his life, and I encourage you guys to check out more. Hey guys! My pen name is Charles T. Servant, but feel free to call me Charles. Though a little pathetic, I only really found this site because of watching the Metarex saga of the Sonic X series. You see, Tails has been my favorite character from the Sonic series since before I even played the games. When I was a kid, my friend had me over one day and he showed me his Sega Dreamcast (remember those things?) and he showed me Sonic Adventure, and as we watched the intro movie I saw Tails and he was immediately my favorite. So when I watched the Sonic X series, Cosmo immediately became my favorite girl character on the show and I was overjoyed that they had finally made someone that Tails could fall in love with, but then the end of the series came and I just became sad for him (quite an understatement, but basically what happened). I sought out a fan-made conclusion to the show on you tube and found none (though I did find out most people hate Chris, something new to me since I never really thought good or bad of him, and I was the only person that I knew who watched the show). So then I searched the Internet and came upon Fanfiction.net through the story Cosmo’s Return, by Mechagodzilla128, and so I began to get pulled in. I have enjoyed most of the stories I have read, so I decided to join and make a few of my own. Now here I am Sorry about the ramble about myself, I tend to ramble about random stuff. So here’s the deal on the my stories: I will be writing a saga that focuses on Cosmo and Tails in an alternate story to that of Sonic X (actually, I’m just changing what happens before the start of the Metarex saga to the Petali clan and after Sonic and crew return from destroying Dark Oak), and it will consist of a prologue, main story, and possibly a sequel and spin-offs if I feel like writing them and the series isn’t completely hated. So yeah, I hope you enjoy the reading! The prologue is done, and the main installment is continuing. It will be updated every few weeks. Please review and tell me what you think, and if you have any tips on how to improve my writing, please tell me! I really need help, as I don't know how well (or poorly) I am actually doing. Thanks for your time and your honesty! OC Information Name: Maerick Stevens Age: 56 (16 after warp) Species: Human Occupation: (Former) Lieutenant of the 392nd Clone Battalion, and before that a government biologist (how did he get there? Well, that would be giving away part of the story). Personality: Partially absent-minded and tends to act on impulse, at least during minor tasks (Why he made the journal entries so historical); Also pretty passive, but don't push him too much! Powers/Skills: Extreme strength of will, leadership abilities, and is (sometimes too much so) fearless. Other Notes: Only other known information is that he was purposefully demoted by the Jedi Council for being "corrupted" like the clones under his command. Also, clones view him as a father figure and look up to him, even Snipe who ignores orders and is sarcastic. Died at the hands of Dark Oak while helping Cosmo escape, but a boy who mysteriously appears after the Sonic group returns from the story of Sonic X claims to be him. Name: Baz Adeli Age: 47 Species: Human Occupation: Former soldier of the Republic, he retired after the clone army filled the ranks of the Navy. He then worked as a bodyguard for Traf Zermoza for ten years, seven of which were after the company had collapsed. Personality: A man with a gruff demeanor, but really is quite considerate of others. He is extremely honor-bound and stiff in his morals, and though he can initially be very stubborn, he has a good heart. Powers/Skills: Trained military soldier, and is able to make an accurate judgment about a person in a few minutes of conversation because of having to do so as a bodyguard Name: Traf Zermoza Age: 34 Species: Human Occupation: Former founder and owner of AstrIncorporated, his business was later shut down by authorities when his CEO was discovered to have been dealing under the table to pirates. Spent his time after spending his cash reserves on large estates, stock markets, and his favorite hobby, hunting. Personality: Outgoing, considerate, open-minded, but can be overly talkative. He also has a tendency to get lost in his thoughts, causing what he says at times to seem completely out-of-the-blue. Tends to set most people at ease with his training in diplomacy, but can be defensive and stubborn about his own ideas. Can be very nonchalant about his wealth, which annoys others. Powers/Skills: Extremely diplomatic, allowing him to be a skilled negotiator. Also has gained some competancy with a blaster from his hunting experience, though it would be safer to have Baz or one of the clones around for protection. Just a note. In the very minute chance that someone would like to use my OCs, I just ask that you tell me beforehand. I have no problem with letting others use them, again, I just want to know where they are. Thanks for the consideration, and I hope you enjoy the story! Personal info: I guess I should add this so as to not confuse anyone. I'm a high school guy who has found writing to be a fun, and I enjoy reading, most video games, TV, playing sports with my friends, swimming, and I play golf as a sport. I'm on our school's team and, though I'm only decent, I have fun with it. Just some more general info about my personal likes and dislikes. I will accept flames for the most part because I will try to see what is plausible criticism in them and use it to improve, though if you have nothing constructive to say at all, please don't try to irritate me. I personally believe that any criticism can be most effective if it is said with a compliment on what is done well. If criticism is meant to be constructive and not just hurtful, it will also inform the writer what is done right so that the writer knows what needs to change and what doesn't. As I always say, I tend to ramble about information when I want to convey a specific feeling because I try to explain every aspect that caused it. Or I just decided it is fun to talk about the topic. But anyway, the point of my pen-name is to convey that I am here to try to contribute, as my name can be sounded out as Charles the Servant. So please tell me how I'm doing, and don't be afraid to send me a PM, I will respond unless it is something just downright nasty. Favorite characters for Sonic Series (*Sonic X Character): 1. Tails I've seen others do this, so Favorite Couples: 1. TailsxCosmo (They are perfect personality matches) Couples I don't like (I guess I should put this too): 1. TailsxCream (To much like brother and sister to me, and in Sonic X I never saw any signs between the two, but I may be blind) I decided to post a poem (with permission from the author, of course; he’s a friend of mine) that I saw in English class this year when we had to write poems. It was written by a student so enjoy: The King Weeps As the King looks sadly over his land, The people balk and mock his name, Some look on in horror and in shame He knows the punishment for their actions, And so he waits for them to turn away, Man, deep huh? When I read this poem and my friend (the one who wrote it) told me what it means, I thought, “Man those people are foolish, they don’t even see what they are doing!” but then I realized we are all guilty of this at some point. Whether it be with a friend, relative, parent, or anyone else who loves us, we often times look at them and - even though they love us more than we know - blame them for stuff that isn’t even their fault and do or say horrible things to them, and all they want to do is see us turn around and say that we’re sorry and love them back. And when someone tries to tell us this, we turn and bite their heads off with harsh words or actions out of pride and anger. In the end, the one who suffers is us, and if we could just swallow our pride and look at what we’ve done for what it truly is we could end the suffering so much faster. I personally believe this can be applied to ANY relationship, and as it was once said by someone important (to me, anyway), it is more important to be right with those around you than to try to go through the motions as if to say everything is okay. So get out there and mend some heartache, my fellow authors and readers. This life is our only shot to make the right choices, and I hope that eventually everyone will get the important one right. This section is what I believe. The Lord is my strength and my song, and has become my salvation - Exodus 15:2 We love Him for He first loved us - 1 John 4:19 Jesus answered, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." -John 14:6 This is because: as it is written, "There is none righteous, not even one; There is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God; All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, there is not even one." - Romans 3: 10-12 Which is because: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23 And: The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23 But: For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life - John 3:16 An interesting story I saw and was amazed. I hope you are to! This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t re-post it? Re-post this if you truly believe in God, and even if you don't. PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what, Even when you can't see him, God is there! Believe! I found an interesting website that made me sit and think a little while. A very nice story, and relax, it's short and to the point, and is just a touching story. So please read it and value it for what it is. Love (1 Corinthians 13:1-3): “If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.” A cool site I just found. If you are interested on learning the basics of Christian Faith, this pretty much covers "why become a Christian" question. I'll be adding to this section later on. If you wish to flame me for it, be my guest. If you ever have a question for me, I'll try to answer it as best as I can. Have You Ever Wondered What it would be like to live with no arms and legs? The answer is probably no, but this man lives that question every day. His name is Nick Vujicic, and I sincerely recommend looking him up. Here is a video about his life, and I encourage you guys to check out more. Update info: * To Bring You Back 8/17: Chapter 12 is up. The second "season" is now in the works and will be up ASAP, but I am also struggling with writer's block. Please know I am trying my best! * Love is... 11/3 Chapter 2 is up. I'm kinda jumping around in the order of verse parts, but yeah. I will not be updating that frequently, since if I do, I'll get behind in my work...anyway, have a nice day. |
